Lavender flowers

The scent of lavender is exceptionally widespread and valued, not least because of its calming and relaxing effect on our well-being. 

In our products we use lavender flowers from the island of Hvar, which we have been picking for decades from lavender bushes in a plantation above the seaside town of Jelsa. Preparing lavender flowers requires a great deal of manual work. In the early morning hours, before the insects become bothersome, we harvest the lavender by hand, dry it in partial shade and, once it is dry enough, thresh the flowers from the stems. This is followed by sifting and cleaning the flowers.
